2014 Australian mental blood and gore movie, THE BABADOOK. Directed by Jennifer Kent, THE BABADOOK centers around a disturbed widow, Amelia, who is raising her six old child, Samuel, after the demise of her better half from a car crash. After a progression of odd occasions, Amelia and Samuel un-expectedly get a baffling spring up-storybook: Mister Babadook. The book depicts a repulsive, tall, pale confronted beast in a best cap and coat that torments his exploited people after they wind up mindful of his reality.
The soundtrack by Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant) is capriciously dim, agonizing, and on occasion, an unnerving listening background. Kurzel mixes electronic instruments and synthesizers with unor-thodox instruments and throbbing, suffocating vocal soundscapes.
The film received worldwide critical acclaim
THE EXORCIST director, William Friedkin, publicly announced, “I’ve never seen a more ter-rifying film than THE BABADOOK. It will scare the hell out of you as it did me.”
Waxwork Records worked broadly with writer Jed Kurzel and the makers of THE BABADOOK to display a unimaginable physical soundtrack discharge on exclusive vinyl.
The luxurious LP bundle incorporates a re-creation board of THE BABADOOK storybook complete with old-style tip on gatefold coats and a spring up Mister Babadook, heavyweight imprinted in-serts including all new craftsmanship by Jessica Seamans of LandLand, liner notes by composer Jed Kurzel, and 180 Gram Black and White twirl hued vinyl.
